{"id":56,"date":"2021-08-26T21:52:53","date_gmt":"2021-08-26T21:52:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/?post_type=faqs&#038;p=56"},"modified":"2023-08-13T18:10:58","modified_gmt":"2023-08-13T18:10:58","slug":"adding-team-members","status":"publish","type":"faqs","link":"https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/?faqs=adding-team-members","title":{"rendered":"Adding Team Members"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>From the Pit Pay App Menu:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap <strong>\u201cTEAM\/GROUP\u201d<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap <strong>&#8220;Add Team Member&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch Your Contacts by Tapping Orange <strong>&#8220;Contacts&#8221;<\/strong> Button and add the person from there, or Enter the Mobile Phone Number, and Name for the Team Member you want to add to your Team \/ Group. <strong>(If you are adding from your &#8220;Contacts&#8221; make sure you select their mobile number) (They Must be 18+)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"if-they-already-have-a-pit-pay-account\">If they already HAVE a Pit Pay Account:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019ll see their headshot, name and number pop up as a Pit Pay User\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap <strong>&#8220;Continue&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Their <strong>&#8220;At Track Duty&#8221;<\/strong> (this can change this later at checkout)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap <strong>&#8220;Add Team Member&#8221;<\/strong> to  add them to your Roster<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll see your New Team\/Group Member on Your Adult Roster<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish to add additional team members, Tap <strong>&#8220;Add Team Member&#8221;<\/strong> and go through the steps again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Adding-to-Your-Roster-Pit-Pay-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-255\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Adding-to-Your-Roster-Pit-Pay-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Adding-to-Your-Roster-Pit-Pay-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Adding-to-Your-Roster-Pit-Pay-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Adding-to-Your-Roster-Pit-Pay-1536x1024.png 1536w, https:\/\/help.pitpay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Adding-to-Your-Roster-Pit-Pay.png 1620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"if-they-do-not-have-a-pit-pay-account\">If they do NOT have a Pit Pay Account:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019ll see the phone number drop down after you enter it\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tap on the Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Duty they\u2019ll perform at the track from the dropdown menu\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This saves a step at checkout but if their duty changes, this can be changed at checkout<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IF you wish to add any additional team members, you can enter their Mobile Phone Numbers to invite them as well<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap \u201cInvite Users\u201d at the bottom of the screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll see your Team Members in the List<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They will receive a text message to with links download the app and you will see them in the list as a Phone Number with \u201cInvited\u201d to the right of their number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive text messages when your team members have signed up for the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT: You will NOT be able to buy a Pass for Your Team or Group Member until they have created their OWN Pit Pay App Account.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Insurance requires each adult to have their own verified Pit Pay App account in order to sign any required agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions about buying passes for your team members?
